Picked up a nail or a screw? Don't drive on it and don't pay for a tyre you might not need. Our mobile puncture repair service comes to you anywhere in West Yorkshire and repairs to the BS AU 159 British Standard — usually in 20–30 minutes including inspection and pressure test.
On-site puncture repairs from £55. If the tyre can't be repaired safely, our inspection fee is fully credited when we supply and fit a replacement on the same visit. Call 07375 249399 now.
When a puncture can be repaired
British Standard BS AU 159 sets strict rules on what's safe. We can usually repair when the damage is a clean penetration up to 6mm wide, sitting in the central three-quarters of the tread, with the tyre structure sound and tread above the legal limit. Every repair starts with the tyre off the wheel for a full internal inspection — plug-only “string” repairs from outside don't meet the standard, and we don't do them.
When it can't — and what happens then
We'll be straight with you if a repair isn't safe or legal. Common reasons include sidewall or shoulder damage, a run-flat that's been driven flat, severe or irregular penetration, bead damage, or tread below 1.6mm. In that case we'll fit a correctly sized replacement from the van there and then — and the inspection fee is deducted in full from the new tyre price on the same visit.
Why mobile repair beats the garage queue
- No risky drive on a deflating tyre to a depot
- 20–30 minutes on site in most cases, including a pressure and valve check
- Honest assessment — repair where safe, replace only when necessary
- 24/7 cover — at night or on a Sunday it becomes an emergency call-out with an out-of-hours rate confirmed up front
We repair punctures across Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax and the whole region — see our coverage map. Pricing is distance-sensitive: a base rate applies near the on-duty technician with a small travel supplement for outlying spots, always confirmed before we set off. Call 07375 249399.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a mobile puncture repair cost?
On-site puncture repairs start from £55 for local call-outs. The exact price depends on your location and is always confirmed up front. Out-of-hours call-outs carry a surcharge.
Can you repair a run-flat tyre?
Only if it hasn't been driven on while flat. A run-flat driven deflated suffers internal damage that makes safe repair impossible — we'll inspect and advise honestly.
How long does a puncture repair take?
Usually 20–30 minutes on site, including removing the tyre for internal inspection, the BS AU 159 repair, rebalancing and a pressure test.
What if my tyre can't be repaired?
We carry replacement tyres on the van. If a repair isn't safe, the inspection fee is deducted in full when we supply and fit a new tyre on the same visit.
